In response to a critical need for direction and original content within the CHICKS brand, I undertook the challenge of revitalizing our content strategy. Recognizing the underutilization of female talent and the reliance on reposted or user-generated content, I embarked on a mission to create engaging and original video series.
Problem: The CHICKS brand lacked direction and original content, heavily relying on reposted content or user-generated content (UGC). Female talent was not utilized in content creation as effectively as male talent.
Contributions:
Initiative and Pitch: Taking the reins, I pitched a series of creative concepts aimed at leveraging the humor and personalities of our coworkers, thus addressing the gap in female talent representation and delivering fresh, entertaining content for our audience.
Editing, Branding, and Animation: With proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, I edited, branded, and animated the video graphics, ensuring each piece resonated with the CHICKS brand identity and captivated our audience.
Production Management: Behind the scenes, I efficiently managed on-screen talent, ensuring their unique voices and personalities shone through in each video, fostering a deeper connection with our viewers.
Audience Engagement: Recognizing the importance of engaging our audience, I actively gathered questions and feedback from our fans, integrating their input into our content strategy and fostering a sense of community.
Music Sourcing: Additionally, I curated music that complemented the tone and style of our videos, enhancing the overall viewing experience and further solidifying our brand identity.
This initiative not only addressed the identified challenges within the CHICKS brand but also laid the foundation for a more cohesive and impactful content strategy, showcasing our commitment to innovation and audience engagement while staying true to the existing brand tone.
